PFAS is a huge and growing issue for those who are exposed at work or who live in areas with high levels of environmental pollution. This finger stick PFAS Core Panel lets you monitor your PFAS exposure conveniently, reliably, and quickly from the comfort of home.

Tests are only validated for people aged 18 or over

Product Overview

The PFAS Core Panel home finger stick test lets you measure the levels of 18 PFAS compounds in your blood.

How we test

Relentless Health delivers reliable and affordable PFAS testing using the newest at-home blood sample collection approach. This is backed up by state-of-the-art laboratory technology which allows us to provide accurate results in days.

First stick your finger
Stick your finger tip with a lancet. This is just like taking a blood sugar test. Our test needs 120 uL (micro-liters) of blood. This is around 8 drops for most people.

Then collect your sample
We use volumetrically accurate microsampling devices from Neoteryx. These blood sampling devices collect just a few drops of blood while still ensuring accurate testing.

Finally, mail the sample to us
The sample is stable for 2 weeks once it has been collected. This means it can be mailed back to our lab without the need for any refrigeration or special storage.

What are PFAS chemicals?
PFAS (per-and poly-fluoroalkyl substances) are a large family of man-made “forever chemicals”. They have long been used in manufacturing for their useful chemical properties, such as being non-stick and being able to repel water. The unique properties of PFAS saw them used in numerous firefighting applications. For decades, they have been the key ingredient in aqueous film-forming foams (AFFFs) used to fight fuel fires. They are also extensively used in the manufacture of firefighter’s turnout gear to improve heat transfer and moisture wicking.

Is the Relentless Health PFAS Core Panel available everywhere?
Relentless Health's toxin tests are available to be purchased and used by almost anyone in the United States,. The exceptions are: residents of the state of New York due to New York's regulations for lab testing; APO addresses; or some overseas territories.  We hope to make our tests available in NY soon.
Are PFAS chemicals dangerous?
Evidence is increasingly linking PFAS exposure to significant adverse health outcomes. These include several forms of cancer as well as reproductive health issues and organ damage among others. As a result, it is important to understand which PFAS substances are present in your body and in what quantities.
Is the test painful?
Taking the Relentless Health test is very simple and typically painless. In order to get a few drops of blood, you do need to use the provided lancet to prick the tip of your finger. For some, this is completely painless, and for others, it might feel like a sting that goes away after a few seconds.
What will my results tell me?
The Relentless Health PFAS test tells you whether you have detectable levels of specific PFAS chemicals in your blood, as well as the concentration of each detected PFAS chemical in “ng/mL” (nanograms per milliliter). You will also get access to our guide with recommendations on how to reduce PFAS exposure at home and in the workplace.

The test is intended to provide clinical information regarding the presence or absence of the specified PFAS compounds in your sample.   The results of this test are not intended to be the sole basis for diagnosis or clinical decision-making.  The interpretation of these test results should be made by a healthcare provider with knowledge of the patient’s clinical history and in conjunction with other laboratory and clinical data.
Which PFAS chemicals does the PFAS Core Panel detect?
The Relentless Health PFAS Core Panel includes analysis of your blood for 18 different PFAS chemicals. Eight of the PFAS compounds are the same ones tracked by The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES):
PFHxS Perfluorohexane Sulfonate
PFOA Perfluorooctanoic Acid
PFHpS Perfluoroheptanesulfonic acid
PFNA Perfluorononanoic Acid
PFOS Perfluorooctane Sulfonate
PFDA Perfluorodecanoic Acid
PFUnDA Perfluoroundecanoic acid
N‐MeFOSAA 2 ‐(N‐Methyllperfluorooctanesulfonamido) acetic acid
The test also includes 10 other PFAS compounds that are commonly used in various consumer products and industrial processes, as well as found in some drinking water and the environment.

Four steps to getting tested
We will ship your test kit within 1 working day of receiving the order. Once your kit arrives, follow these easy steps to take your PFAS test.
  1. Prepare the kit: Lay out the kit ready to use, open the lancet and sampler device, and wash and dry your hands.
  2. Use the lancet to stick your finger: Use the lancet to stick the end of one finger, making sure to follow the instructions carefully. Then wipe away the first drop of blood.
  3. Collect your samples: Carefully collect your 4 samples using the device, making sure the tip goes completely red. It is really important to collect good samples as we reserve the right to charge you for a repeat test if the sample is bad.
  4. Mail the completed sample to our lab: Close the sampler, complete your ID label and attach it to the cartridge, seal in its pouch, and put it in the reply paid envelope to mail back to our lab using USPS.
What will your results show?
Once your results are ready you will be able to access them by logging into our app. You will see the following details:
  • A list of all PFAS compounds that were detected along with the levels identified
  • Details of where each compound is used and potential health effects
  • An estimate of how your PFAS levels compare with guidance from the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM)
  • Comparisons between your NASEM level and the wider US population
  • Advice on how to reduce your PFAS exposure
  • Access to a downloadable report to share with your physician
